Cute Pixar-style animal shorts are some of the most viral AI videos right now. You don't need a script, a big budget or hundreds of generations. You need one good prompt, and you don't even have to write it yourself.

1Write a one-line idea

Start with a short idea: style, characters, place. This is the exact one I used:

2Let ChatGPT turn it into a pro prompt

Paste the idea into ChatGPT and send it. You get back a long prompt with the timeline of the shot, camera movement, lighting, character design and camera continuity. That's what a video model needs to make something that looks like a real animated movie.

Tip: Want better results? Add to your idea: "include a small surprise in the middle". In my video a fish jumps out of the pond, and that twist is what keeps people watching.

3Generate with Veo 3.1

Open your AI video generator. I use woso.io: register an account and enter the promo code SUMMER5000 to get free credits. Then choose text-to-video. These are the settings I use:

Model: Google Veo 3.1, if your tool offers it.
Number of generations: 1. Make one and check it before you spend more.
Aspect ratio 9:16 (portrait) for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
Quality 1080p.
Enhance prompt ON, if there is such a button. It makes the video more cinematic, with smoother camera moves and better lighting.

Paste the prompt from ChatGPT, hit generate and give it 20–30 seconds.
