Copy this super prompt: character consistency with one prompt

By Erick · 5 min read · 3 steps

The fastest way to lose viewers in an AI video is a character who changes face between scenes. The fix is a master character reference sheet: 14 views of the exact same character (7 face angles and 7 full-body angles) on a clean white background.

Upload one image of your character, paste the prompt below, and you get the sheet. After that, every scene you generate uses it as the identity reference.

1Get one clear image of your character

You need a single, sharp image where the face and outfit are easy to see. It can be:

The better the source image, the better the sheet. Front-facing, even light and the full outfit visible work best.

2Paste the super prompt into ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT, upload your character image and paste this prompt in the same message. Send it and ChatGPT generates the sheet.

Use the uploaded image as the ONLY primary character reference.

Create a professional character-consistency / turnaround reference sheet of the EXACT SAME CHARACTER.

CRITICAL PRIORITY — IDENTITY CONSISTENCY:
The character must remain unmistakably the same person/character in every view. Preserve the exact facial identity, facial proportions, bone structure, head shape, jawline, cheekbones, chin, nose shape, nostril shape, lips, mouth shape, eyes, eyebrows, ears, hairline, hairstyle, hair texture, facial hair, skin tone, body proportions, height, build, age appearance, and all other recognizable physical characteristics from the uploaded reference.

DO NOT redesign the character.
DO NOT beautify or idealize the character.
DO NOT make the character more attractive.
DO NOT change facial proportions.
DO NOT make a generic lookalike.
DO NOT introduce different facial features between angles.
The uploaded character is the source of truth.

CLOTHING:
Precisely preserve the character's clothing from the uploaded reference, including colors, materials, logos, patterns, fit, seams, accessories, footwear, and distinctive details. If a detail is visible in the reference, reproduce it consistently from every applicable angle.
If something is not visible, infer it conservatively from the existing design rather than inventing a new design.

POSE:
Create neutral, controlled character-reference poses.
The character should stand naturally and remain still, with relaxed arms and a neutral expression.
No dramatic acting, gestures, walking, movement, exaggerated poses, or action poses.
The purpose is to establish a clean visual model for future image/video generation.

LAYOUT:

Create ONE clean professional turnaround/reference sheet on a pure white background.

TOP ROW — FACE / HEAD CONSISTENCY:
1. FRONT — straight-on
2. FRONT 3/4 LEFT
3. LEFT PROFILE
4. LEFT 3/4
5. RIGHT 3/4
6. RIGHT PROFILE
7. BACK OF HEAD

BOTTOM ROW — FULL BODY CONSISTENCY:
1. FRONT
2. FRONT 3/4 LEFT
3. LEFT PROFILE
4. LEFT 3/4
5. BACK
6. RIGHT 3/4
7. RIGHT PROFILE

Keep the camera height, focal length, framing, lighting, and visual scale as consistent as possible across every view.

FACE VIEWS:
Show the complete head and neck clearly.
Use neutral facial expression.
Keep the exact same facial structure across all angles.
The profile views must accurately reveal the same forehead, nose, lips, chin, jawline, ears, hairline, and beard/hair silhouette established by the reference.

FULL-BODY VIEWS:
Show the character completely from head to toe.
Keep identical body proportions, height, shoulder width, torso shape, arm length, leg length, hand size, and overall silhouette in every view.
Feet should remain visible.
Use a neutral anatomical standing position.

CAMERA:
Use a consistent studio camera setup.
Eye-level camera.
Neutral perspective.
No fisheye distortion.
No extreme wide-angle lens.
No dramatic perspective.
No camera tilt.
Every angle should feel like it was photographed in the same studio.

LIGHTING:
Use soft, neutral, evenly distributed studio lighting.
No dramatic shadows.
No colored lighting.
No cinematic lighting.
No rim-light effects that alter the silhouette.
The lighting should make facial and clothing details clearly visible.

BACKGROUND:
Pure clean white (#FFFFFF).
No orange background.
No scenery.
No environment.
No props.
No furniture.
No objects.
No decorative elements.

STYLE:
Photorealistic professional character reference sheet.
High detail.
Sharp facial features.
Natural skin texture.
Accurate clothing texture.
Clean studio photography.
Consistent exposure and white balance.
Professional production-design reference quality.

CHARACTER LABELING:
Add small, clean, unobtrusive labels underneath each view identifying the angle, such as:
FRONT
FRONT 3/4
LEFT
BACK
RIGHT

Do not let labels overlap the character.

MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:
ALL 14 views must represent ONE SINGLE IDENTICAL CHARACTER.

Before rendering each view, mentally cross-reference the uploaded reference and all other views. Facial identity, hairstyle, facial hair, clothing, body proportions, and silhouette must remain locked across the entire sheet.

If the uploaded image contains only one angle, reconstruct the unseen angles conservatively from the visible anatomy and design. Do not invent unnecessary features.

The final result should function as a MASTER CHARACTER REFERENCE SHEET that can be used as the identity reference for future images, animations, videos, advertisements, thumbnails, and scenes.

OUTPUT:
One clean, high-resolution character turnaround sheet.
Pure white background.
No extra characters.
No text except small angle labels.
No props.
No environment.
No movement.
No redesign.
Maximum identity consistency.

Make it even stronger

Paste this line at the very top of the prompt. It tells the model that your image is a fixed identity, not inspiration:

REFERENCE IMAGE LOCK: The uploaded image has absolute priority over any generic knowledge, artistic interpretation, or stylistic tendency. Treat the uploaded character as a fixed identity reference, not inspiration. Do not alter the character's identity to make the image look more aesthetically pleasing.

If your character has a logo, tattoo, scar, jewelry, glasses or any other detail that must never change, add this too:

IDENTIFYING DETAILS LOCK:
Every distinctive identifying detail visible in the reference must be preserved exactly and consistently across all views. This includes logos, text, tattoos, scars, birthmarks, jewelry, glasses, piercings, buttons, patterns, hair details, facial hair, and clothing construction.

Check the sheet before you use it. Compare the profile views with the front view: same nose, same jawline, same hairline. If one angle looks like a different person, ask ChatGPT to redo only that view.

3Use the sheet to generate your scenes

Now go to woso.io and generate your scenes with the sheet as the character reference. Upload the sheet (or the front view from it) wherever the generator accepts a reference image, and describe the scene as usual. Because the model now sees your character from every angle, the face and outfit stay the same from scene to scene.
